There were already visitors there when we arrived to see it on opening day. It gave a sense of a close encounter. Throughout the day, the mist accumulates into faint, cloud-like formations, before dissipating across the space. I thought the idea of 4, sq m of mirrored ceiling was impossible.
Putting a mirror on the ceiling did the opposite — it doubled this huge space.
All those persons in the Turbine Hall were seen as small black silhouettes and they were all put against an orange light field. As you walked in you saw them reflected in the ceiling. The artist also talked about the weather being a dynamic element.

Throughout the day, the mist accumulates into faint, cloud-like formations, before dissipating across the space. As you walked in you saw them reflected in the ceiling. None of the established companies who normally do this kind of work were crazy enough to go for it. A glance overhead, to see where the mist might escape, reveals that the ceiling of the Turbine Hall has disappeared, replaced by a reflection of the space below. Understanding the world means gaining insight in how it all fits together, while, simultaneously, realising that there is so much to know that we can never know or fully understand all of it. Any other color besides black and yellow was invisible The whole space was covered with a fine mist that seeps into the whole space like it was coming from the outside space. It was on a warm day even though it snowed the previous day and people were talking about global warming.
These lamps, therefore, change the view and landscape of the environment into one with two tones. Mono-frequency lamps are mostly used in street lights and the frequency at which they emit light is so low that any other color besides black and yellow are invisible.
A fine mist permeates the space as if creeping in from the environment outside.
