Reaction paper the giver
My faith and belief that this experience with the area kids is something good for all of us is how I can make my actions truly good for the kids and how I can make their experience with me a better place.
The giver conclusion
I hope all of you will consider reading this novel and ponder some of the themes above. The society has eliminated pain and strife by converting to "Sameness," a plan that has also eradicated emotional depth from their lives. When we got to know our assigned kids, I learned that my kid has some issues with her past that she feels will affect her future. The new child is no longer crying, moved his arms and legs in a jerking motion. They know nothing about the true human life. Like Jonas and the Giver, we share a bond that helps both of us grow together and become our better selves. They know nothing about the truth. Since there is only one culture, nothing is different. For him everything is perfect the way it is but when he was chosen as the receiver of memory for the community he discovered dark secrets that lie ahead. For example, there is no sex, because sexual urges lead to competition for mates and possibly violence. The meaning of release was to make an excuse forcing people to be dead. Jonas is selected to inherit the position of Receiver of Memory, the person who stores all the past memories of the time before Sameness, in case they are ever needed to aid in decisions that others lack the experience to make. I explained to her that our past is simply the past and that what ever happens now is completely her control. Many different views are expressed in the piece which gives many different reasons for the name. They think that when someone is released, they go Elsewhere.
The residents This is the same for me and my experiences in the NSTP area. Jonas was anxious about the ceremony of twelfth, he would be assigned a job that determined his lifetime career by elders' observation. He is getting old, so he needs to pass on the memories to young Jonas, the Receiver of Memories.
There would be no issues between people of different cultures.
However, it is not only them who experience guidance and companionship, but also us who see these kids as a key to realizing the reality and truth of this world. For me, taking away your feeling without knowing how it felt or what it is probably one of the cruellest and saddest you could do.
It was really adventurous, but it looked a bit sad.
